We have loaded within the Newsletter tab information which has been sent to ALL current members of WGHA, in relation to how the Under 8 and Under 10 competition will be administered for season 2017.

Let me allay the following concerns:
- Under 10’s will still be able to participate in the team based Under 12 competition. Administratively this will mean that parents will need to organise ‘dual’ registration – one with WGHA and one with Aztecs.
- Children participating in the Under 10 WGHA competition will still be able to select which WGHA affiliated team they would like to join once they move into the Under 12 age group.

As a club we fully support the program that the WGHA are implementing. Yes, there may be some ‘teething problems’, but I am sure these can be overcome and in the end it will provide uniform skill development, greater efficiency of resources and more enjoyment for the children in those age groups and make them better hockey players as they move into a club based competition.
